Why Plug in Europe?

We believe that for environmental and security reasons, Europe must move away from vehicles solely powered by an internal combustion engine. Instead, we must adopt plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles which offer real environmental, security and economic benefits, as well as improved an improved driving experience.

The time has come for change and the technology is here. What is needed is the will to act. Consumers must demand new vehicles, manufacturers must produce them and government must provide both with support.

Our aim is kick start this process by raising awareness and lobbying for the use of plug-in vehicles. We also support the use of hybrid vehicles as a stepping stone to full plug-in hybrids.
